It is Beth and yes there’s quite a bit of history on the island with Grainne Mhaol’s castle, promontory forts, an abbey and other archaeological sites 😊

Oh how cool CJ! Last Saturday was my first time on the island and it was not at all what I was expecting. It was better! I was fully expecting it to be a tourist trap but I was delighted that it hasn’t been spoiled by gifts shops and overrun with people. It was peaceful walking around and sitting on the beach 😊
yes growing up I used to go on my holidays and honest to god it was the best 😀 I haven’t been in a few years, but I think i will have to take a trip up now again.

I’ve heard of Outlander but haven’t watched it. I met two ladies last week in the museum I work in and they come from the place in Scotland where Outlander is filmed.
