As an approved regional guide and member of the Approved Tourist Guides of Ireland (ATGI), Marteen offers two unique walking tours that aim to showcase Galway city from different perspectives. HerGalway Walking Tour tells the stories of remarkable women from all walks of life associated with Galway. The Medieval Galway Tour transports visitors back to medieval Galway, where they can still see the remnants of that era in history around the city. These walking tours can be run as private tours on request. Private walking tours can also be tweaked to the group’s interests. Marteen is also qualified to act as a hop-on guide for bus tours. As a hop-on guide, she covers tours around Connemara, the Burren, and the Cliffs of Moher.

There is so much to experience when visiting the west of Ireland, from amazing myths and legends, folklore, music and dance, natural heritage, heritage sites, and fascinating history. Taking a guided tour is a way to connect with the place you are visiting and to make meaning from that experience.
