Hello and welcome! I am a Galway-based qualified regional tour guide and a member of the Approved Tourist Guides of Ireland. I am proud to say that I’m originally from Co. Mayo, in the west of Ireland. I have over 10 years of guiding experience, guiding in Dublinia, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, The Little Museum of Dublin, and The Quiet Man Museum in Cong, Co. Mayo, and now conducting my own tours. I completed a BA (Hons) in Heritage Studies from Atlantic Technological University, Castlebar, in 2019. I also graduated with an MA in Irish Studies (Literature and History) from the University of Galway, in 2025. I am passionate about Ireland’s cultural heritage. I love sharing that passion through my walking tours of Galway city, and my tours of Connemara, the Burren, and the Cliffs of Moher. I also express it through my informative articles on this website. The Irish language and women’s history are really important to me.

As a member of the Approved Tourist Guides of Ireland (ATGI), I offer two unique walking tours. They aim to showcase Galway city from different perspectives.  HerGalway Walking Tour tells the stories of amazing women who shaped Galway, Ireland, and the world. Medieval Galway Tour transports visitors back to medieval Galway. There, they can still see the remnants of that era in history around the city. These walking tours can be run as private tours on request. Private walking tours can also be tweaked to cater to the group’s interests. I am also qualified to act as a hop-on guide for bus tours.  As a hop-on guide, I conduct tours around Connemara, the Burren, and the Cliffs of Moher.

There is so much to experience when visiting the west of Ireland. You can explore amazing myths and legends, and immerse yourself in folklore, music, and dance. Discover the natural heritage, visit heritage sites, and delve into fascinating history. Taking a guided tour helps you connect with the place you are visiting.
