The Burren and the Cliffs of Moher on the west coast of Ireland are unique landscapes that everyone should experience at least once. You can drive there yourself or take one of the many bus tours taking a day trip to this wonderful region. The changeable weather shouldn’t stop you, just come prepared.
Have you been to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren? If so what did you think?
I have never been, but it is truly a dream of mine. I have one free weekend this summer as an Au Pair and I wanted to spend it there but the air fare just wasn’t working out for the times I need it to- but I am going to be there one day. I must! Especially after reading your photo essay ❤ thank you so much for sharing, photo essays sometimes inspire me equally as much or more to visit the place!!

That’s a pity about the air fare but don’t give up 😊 You’ll love it here Brooke. You’re welcome. I’m glad 😊

Great photos Marteen! I have been there once, in 2012. It is gorgeous indeed. The green vs white contrast of the land is so striking!

Looks like a stunning place to visit, and you even had beautiful blue skies too! I’d love to visit Ireland, this would definitely make the cut.

I’d recommend visiting before 11am and after 4pm to avoid the crowds. I was on a bus tour and we didn’t arrive until 2pm. The place was thronged with people and to be honest it took from the experience a little.
